Responsibilities
Under direct supervision the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk works two shifts: the morning shift replenishes product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager in a specifically assigned area. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk assists customers throughout the entire shift and maintains the cleanliness of the department.
The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
