Job Summary
A Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA focuses on deepening relationships with an established base of clients and organically growing the practice through referrals to deliver financial solutions that ignite the dreams of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with affluent clients to identify financial goals, analyze their financial landscape, and develop recommendations that help them work toward well‑defined objectives.
Communicate complex financial solutions to clients, utilizing interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
Build meaningful and long‑lasting relationships, developing and implementing appropriate financial solutions.
Obtain all required licenses within 120 days of start date.
Educational Requirements
University degree preferred.
Work Experience
5+ years in a role with personal accountability and managing a book of business or equivalent experience (Required).
5+ years building long‑lasting relationships with affluent clients or equivalent experience (Required).
FINRA Registrations
Series 7; Series 63; Series 65; Series 66.
Licenses and Certifications
Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) – multiple issuers required.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) – preferred.
Chartered Financial Analyst – Level I (preferred; if not held, TIAA will cover the cost and increase base salary upon completion).
Physical Requirements
Physical Requirement: Sedentary work.
