Group Supervisor, Fulfillment Center

Job Summary
As a Group Supervisor at our Walgreens fulfillment center, you will serve as a pivotal leader, mentor, and coach to others, including both individual contributors and team leaders. You will help team members unlock their full potential through personalized guidance and professional development. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes as you foster a culture of excellence within our closed-door pharmacy setting. You will build and nurture meaningful relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. This position is located in our climate-controlled, closed-door pharmacy facility featuring advanced automation technology and modern amenities.

While this is subject to change, flexibility to work first or second shifts, potentially including weekends, is required in this position.

Job Responsibilities

Resolve or provide technical advice on complex or critical issues that have been escalated from Function.

Determine and initiate appropriate resolution for escalations. Report issues/concerns to Group Manager when appropriate.

Supervise daily activities of all team members and Function Leads for scheduled shift and provide feedback and coaching of team members according to quality standards. Intercede on communication with difficult customers or patients.

Coaching and developing the Centralized Services team members and Function Leads.

Conduct performance reviews with team members, identify opportunities for development, and recommend sustainable solutions to achieve necessary results.

Continue to look for ways to improve current processes with enhancements and ideas. Recommend process improvements to Group Manager.

Maintain working relationships and cooperate actively with all levels and areas of management to ensure that the objectives of the department and company are met.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company and facility policies and procedures. Maintain standards of performance in accordance with policies and procedures (e.g., HIPAA guidelines/regulations, insurance, and fraud abuse guidelines, required productivity levels, timeliness expectations).

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree OR high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience working in a fulfillment, logistics or centralized service setting.

Ability to be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the state Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency within the state mandated timeline and PTCB Certified within twelve months of placement in position.

Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team, coaching, mentoring, and training staff.

Experience with MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience applying knowledge of Workforce Management Systems (WMS).

Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

Experience working in a pharmacy fulfillment setting.

The Salary below is being provided to promote pay transparency and equal employment opportunities at Walgreens. The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled.

Salary Range: $56,800 – $91,100 / Salaried
