Overview
The Relief Customer Service Representative builds solid, positive working relationships with customers and is highly motivated to exceed their expectations and requirements. Vestis operates in a very competitive environment and a successful Relief CSR must balance exceptional customer service with meeting and exceeding individual sales growth goals. As an advocate for the organization, Relief CSRs generate goodwill and loyalty while performing their work in a professional manner at all times.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a company step van in the designated area to provide products and service to a variety of clients.

Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.

Manage the daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.

Load and unload product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.

Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.

Develop leads and prospects, call prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts; assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.

Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.

Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues promptly and courteously.

Take responsibility for personal safety and watch out for the safety of others. Use safe precautions, proper tools, and equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies.

Perform other duties as required or assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and an excellent driving record.

Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.

Strong math and basic computer skills.

Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business is preferred.

Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills are required.

Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify and solve customer concerns.

Working Conditions

Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures depending on geographical location.

Fast‑paced environment sometimes requiring irregular and long hours.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance.

Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.

This position requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.

Education
High school degree or equivalent

License Requirements / Certifications
Valid Driver's License

Compensation
$23.00/HR

Schedule
Mon - Thurs (4‑day work week)
