Key Responsibilities
Accurately select products from designated locations using order sheets or electronic devices (in the freezer, cooler as well as out of freezer and cooler)
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or conveyance
Ensure orders are accurate and meet quality standards
Operate warehouse equipment such as Electric and Non Electric forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area: Clean boxes, sweep, break boxes as needed
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order discrepancies or issues
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good physical condition; ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Basic math and reading skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work till picking is completed
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse setting and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving machinery
The position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
