Position Overview
District maintenance technician responsible for high quality service to assigned locations and fast solutions to various facility and equipment maintenance needs at Crunch Fitness – Undefeated Tribe.
What You’ll Do
The district technician is a task–oriented individual who maintains a clean, crisp, and inviting environment, performs regular maintenance duties on fitness equipment and club amenities, and oversees 3rd‑party vendors for specialty work, emergency resolution, and scheduled maintenance support.
What Success Looks Like
Clubs consistently score 95%+ on member experience audits with zero safety or equipment downtime issues reported.
Work orders achieve ≤4‑day average closure rate, with first action ≤24 hours and significant progress by 36 hours.
Parts inventory 100% accurate and optimized across assigned clubs.
3rd‑party vendors deliver 90%+ first‑time fix rates, with all service calls properly evaluated and documented.
Club management independently handles 80%+ of Level 1 repairs after your training, reducing escalation tickets by 50%.
Preventative maintenance fully tracked and completed per manufacturer schedules, preventing 95% of potential breakdowns.
Daily end‑of‑day reports and weekly visit schedules 100% on time.

Responsibilities
Perform club walk‑throughs to uphold the Crunch Fitness brand and ensure a positive member experience.
Maintain and update the internal online work order program, recording a daily schedule of repair needs.
Identify, repair, and maintain fitness and spa equipment for proper use and safety per Crunch guidelines.
Maintain a 4‑day or less work order closure rate, first action within 24 hours, and significant action by 36 hours.
Manage and control parts inventory with accurate records.
Create and maintain daily and weekly schedules; submit daily end‑of‑day reports and follow the weekly club visit schedule.
Train and support club team management to perform Level 1 facility and equipment repair.
Solicit bids and quotes from vendors and dispatch contractors for facility repairs or maintenance.
Evaluate contractor work to ensure proper repairs were made after service calls.
Act as coordinator with property management for facility repairs or upkeep requiring their attention.
Perform regular preventative maintenance of all fitness, R&R equipment per manufacturer recurring schedule guidelines.
Track all preventative maintenance information within the internal online work order program.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in building or retail maintenance.
Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems preferred.
Effective communication skills and proficiency with office equipment, including computer use.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend, lift, and carry in excess of 100 lbs.
Continual standing and walking during the shift.
Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Travel
100% within the market with occasional out‑of‑market travel.
Travel costs covered; role includes a car allowance.
Work evenings or weekends as required by construction schedule and project deadlines.
