Required – High school diploma, or equivalent
Preferred – 2-year Associate degree from an accredited institution or two or more years of college-level coursework
Certifications
First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention
Work Experience
Required – One (1) year of related experience and/or training
Preferred – Two (2) or more years of related experience and/or training
Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables
Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that apply to this position
Maintain all contractor records and bookkeeping data efficiently and consistently with program requirements, policies, and procedures
Supervise logistics staff on the ground at each facility
Generate weekly work order reports, including completed, in progress, and overdue assignments
Maintain a filing and tracking system for building inspection records
Create and submit purchase requisitions, receipts, and invoices per Compass Connections' timeline requirements
Maintain purchase order logs
Create and submit travel and expense reports following Compass Connections' timeline requirements
Participate in scheduled meetings, team decisions, and operations
Implement Compass Connections' safety protocol, including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency
Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and as requested by the supervisor
Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the child and program operations
Maintain Compass Connections' professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in the employee handbook, including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with the required dress code at all times
Other Responsibilities
Maintain a comprehensive filing system and retrieve information from files as directed
Manage program administration using the requisition system, including tracking of receipts and invoices, vendor contact information, and contractor and supplier files
Generate general correspondence, memorandums, and department records
Record and maintain departmental and facility reports for the Regional Logistics Director as requested
Maintain a comprehensive inventory control system in support of Logistics, Food Services/National School Lunch Program, and Maintenance Departments
Meet all pre-determined deadlines required by the program and federal partners
Other duties as assigned
Additional Requirements
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment
Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background check
Demonstrate the ability to:
a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics
b. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers, and professionals
c. Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently
d. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times
e. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position
f. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures
