Position Summary:
Performs administrative duties for the office of the Vice President, Development & Public Relations and serves as backup to the President’s assistant as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provides full scope of administrative support to the Vice President Development & Public Relations. This individual will perform a variety of administrative duties and requires a high level of professionalism in all situations.
Develops forms and tables using a variety of software applications
Creates, maintains, and manages databases
Prepares and maintains mailing lists
Orders, receives, and distributes office suppliesAnswers and responds to phone calls and emails, offering assistance and ensuring customers’ needs are met
Assist with calendar management including proactive review to identify potential conflicts and provide recommendations/suggestions
High‑level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitates considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.
Complex responsibilities requiring considerable judgment and initiative with minimal direction including reliable follow‑up.
Anticipate Vice President’s and department needs as best possible.
Work closely with other administrative assistants (internal and external) to assure consistent flow of communication and coordination of efforts building solid, supportive, positive relationships.
Ensures that personal performance reflects the Mission, Vision and Departmental Goals.
Completes annual training requirements
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum requirement, five years of executive support experience and high school diploma
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to work independently
LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
