Controller
with construction industry experience for an organization located in the
Greater
Sacramento area!
This role will work directly with the CFO to oversee accounting operations across multiple entities including financial reporting, payroll, WIP reporting, inventory control, and budgeting. If you are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment, we want to hear from you!

Core duties and responsibilities
Lead full cycle accounting for multiple entities.
Manage AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and job costing.
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and tax-ready documents.
Oversee inventory tracking and product profitability.
Help implement financial controls and support compliance.
Support senior leadership with strategic insights.
Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of accounting experience
Construction industry experience
WIP accounting and prevailing-wage payroll experience
A collaborative mindset with an eye for accuracy and improvement.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is from $140K to $160K, depending on experience.
