Surgery - General Physician

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position on a hospital-based neurosurgery team

Join a neuroscience team with 4 neurosurgeons, 4 advanced practice providers (APPs), 2 neurointerventionalists, and 2 neurohospitalists

Experienced APP required; prior neurosurgical experience preferred; prior surgical experience necessary

Help manage a busy inpatient neurosurgery service

Participate in 3 operative days per week with an approximate case mix of 20% cranial and 80% spine

Perform bedside neuro-ICU procedures and neurosurgical trauma procedures

2 outpatient clinic days per week

Shared call responsibilities with the neurosurgery APP and physician team

Position based in a comprehensive stroke center and Level 1 trauma center with dedicated neuro-ICU, neuro step-down unit, and neuro floor
