
Income Tax Accounting Manager

Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of income tax accounting and reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and year‑end tax provisions and financial statement disclosures. Partner closely with third‑party tax preparers, manage income tax audits, and lead a team of tax professionals. Play a key role in ongoing growth initiatives and an upcoming general ledger system upgrade.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred.
6+ years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting or a large corporate environment.
Experience at Manager level required; Director-level experience may be considered.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner cross‑functionally.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle ambiguity in a fast‑growing environment.
Willingness to work on‑site in Springfield, MO and commit long‑term to the location.
Experience with corporate income tax, GAAP accounting, tax compliance, audit management, and Excel data entry.
Pay & Benefits
Pay range: $130,000 to $150,000 per year.
