Job Summary
Our client a leading Energy & Utilities provider is seeking a Claims Analyst to join their team! This position is located Hybrid in San Diego, California.
Core Responsibilities
Identify investigating on claims when a 3rd party is legally responsible for any damage or loss
Protect financial interest by pursuing costs from responsible party
Identify subrogation opportunities by analyzing information around damages to physicality’s or equipment to investigate matters to determine who is responsible and see if they want to pursue their recovery
Collaborate internally with stakeholders, legal counsel both internal and external, and insurance carriers, and who is individually responsible for the damage
Perform mediation duties, required to be there as a witness or an adjuster to provide authority, may be asked to appear in court to be a witness to loss
Document claims, understands facts of loss, look at the investigation that took place and recovery analysis
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
Claims management systems and experience
Strong knowledge of Insurance Adjusting
Experience with Microsoft OfficeSuite
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
General Liability- subrogation, motor vehicles, personal injury, property damage knowledge
Claims management System experience (any kind)

Strong time management and prioritization skills
Work Environment
Location: San Diego, California
Onsite M-Thurs, Remote Fridays
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between
$21.00
and
$30.00 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
