Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with expected first‑year total earnings between $50,000 - $55,000 per year. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview
The Accountant will prepare and analyze journal entries, perform month and year‑end closings, complete general ledger, and bank reconciliations and support warehouse locations.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform month/year‑end financial analysis of actual results against budget/forecast
Prepare and analyze closing journal entries and support month‑end review processes
Complete complex balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis
Evaluate transactions and record to the general ledger as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete
Research technical accounting issues and can work with management on solutions
Assist with ad‑hoc projects, as needed
Perform other job‑related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree plus three years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
Physical Demands
Sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine for a considerable amount of time
Occasional walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20 lbs
