Departmental Overview
The second oldest business school in the United States, UC Berkeley Haas, has been redefining business education since 1898. Responsibilities

Analytical studies on a variety of policies, projects, programs and issues supporting research initiatives.

Assist in policy and program planning, development, administration, management, and implementation; interpret, monitor and analyze information regarding policies and procedures.

Gather and assemble analytical and factual data on assigned problems to prepare reports, summaries, and analyses.

Clean raw digitized data from historical sources and perform descriptive statistical analysis.

Apply professional or research concepts to analyze data and systems for moderately complex projects.

Prepare, edit and modify documents, including research reports, manuscripts, presentations, and proposals.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Working knowledge of or quick ability to learn common organization or research‑specific and other computer applications.

Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.

Ability to analyze, research, and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.

Ability to multi‑task with demanding timeframes.

Working knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques.

Exemplifies Haas’s four Defining Leadership Principles.

Education/Training

Bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

Salary & Benefits

Full‑time (40 hours/week) career position eligible for UC Benefits.

Non‑exempt, biweekly‑paid.

Salary range posted in the announcement; offers determined by final candidate qualifications and experience.
