Senior Staffing Manager

to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.

In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvement—helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility, enterprise program at the intersection of data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Primary Responsibilities

Oversee and support project staffing needs, including managing project staff plans and forecasting staffing requirements.

Fill staffing positions and maintain oversight of staffing qualifications.

Manage staff retention, on-boarding, and off-boarding processes.

Coordinate recruitment efforts across team members and collaborate with Leidos human resource management personnel.

Plan and lead major technology assignments, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Evaluate performance results and recommend changes to enhance project growth and success.

Ensure staffing activities align with evolving mission priorities, surge requirements, and programmatic goals.

Develop and maintain a Project Staffing Plan and status reports.

Schedule, coordinate, and host Task Order Kick-Off Meetings.

Prepare and provide Monthly Status Reports (MSR) detailing progress, issues, and corrective actions.

Conduct Quarterly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and brief on technical accomplishments.

Prepare and update a Project Management Plan (PMP) with detailed SOPs, risk management, and communication strategies as related to staffing.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in project staffing and management.

Proven experience in managing staff retention, on-boarding, and off-boarding.

Strong collaboration skills with human resource management personnel.

Experience in planning and leading major technology assignments.

Ability to evaluate performance results and recommend changes.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency in developing and maintaining project staffing plans and status reports.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a related field.

Experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) or similar government environments.

Familiarity with the platform and its mission.

Experience in supporting program management for large-scale IT projects.

Knowledge of open standards systems and their application in reducing operating costs.

Experience in supporting transition-in and transition-out activities.

Pay Range
$92,300.00 - $166,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
