Job Summary
The P.L. is the “voice of the customer” in Oldcastle Infrastructure facilities. The P.L. is responsible for the customer experience from the point of sale to on‑site delivery, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction on all sales orders. The role involves coordinating with engineering, approvals, scheduling, production, and transportation, and acts as the main point of contact for customers and vendors throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

Serve as the primary “voice of the customer” within OI facilities.

Manage multiple sales orders concurrently.

Work with the COO, OSR and Est to conduct a Turnover/Kick Off meeting at the point of sale, ensure all paperwork is complete, and confirm estimate values before scheduling with production to meet the customer ship date.

Act as the customer’s point of contact from sales order assignment to on‑site delivery, providing timely updates on the production schedule.

Direct and oversee all project team members—including engineering, production planning, transportation, procurement, and accounting—to ensure project completion.

Prepare timely change order proposals for owner, client, or engineer requests, or those generated by OI.

Monitor project milestones, proactively problem‑solve, offer technical advice, and remove obstacles that may cause schedule delays.

Promote continuous improvement of processes and systems.

Coordinate site visits and resolve issues that arise through the project lifecycle, including change orders, schedule adjustments, and collection of needed information.

Identify and requisition special purchase items as required.

Manage required submittals and approvals with the customer.

Communicate with Transportation to establish initial delivery needs and follow up as needed.

Collaborate with other project managers and the plant manager to manage long‑term schedules and minimize operational conflicts.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; Civil Engineering preferred.

3+ years of Project Management experience.

Demonstrated ability to manage several large to small, complex projects simultaneously.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to read and work from production schematics and engineering drawings.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Experience in construction or precast concrete industry.
