
Materials Coordinator/Supply Chain Analyst

Description
Performing supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, price negotiation and distribution
Developing and implementing detailed scenarios and identifying trends
Leading the activities for proficiency evaluations of inventories
Creating integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, procurement and logistics) and outside suppliers
Ensuring the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled
Generating, maintaining, and tracking material and part requirements to ensure continued support of deployed systems and/or products
Preparing materials requisition
Maintaining materials database
Maintaining inventory required by engineering drawings
Providing information for the tracking and storage of government furnished equipment
Providing customer information and assuring that support requirements and schedules are met

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military supply experience or four years of inventory/supply experience
Primary responsibilities are within the Supply Chain and Logistics Function as a generalist or in a combination of various managerial disciplines
