Emergency Medicine Physician

Medical Center is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician to fill their full-time need!

Schedule:

• Shifts per month: 3 - 24 hour shifts/pay period (minimum)
• Shift length: 24 hours; 7a-7a (occasionally 12 hour shifts)
• On Call: in-house coverage (provider sleep room available)

• Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: Average 4 inpatients (obs, acute and swingbed)

• Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 4
• Supervision of APPs expected: No
• Nursing Support: 2 RNs for all services
• Ancillary Staff per provider: 1 CNA
• Number Exam Rooms per provider: 3 ED treatment rooms, 20 inpatient beds
• Medical Imaging: Yes
• Lab & Pharmacy: Yes

Patient Population: Medical Center is located in Dyersville, a city in eastern Delaware County and western Dubuque County. The population is approximately 4,360. Dyersville is known as the home of the Field of Dreams movie site, the National Farm Toy Museum.

Services offered in the practice: Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital that offers comprehensive care. The hospital features a 3-bed Emergency Department. It includes a 20-bed medical-surgical department to support a wide range of inpatient needs. Services also include a wide range of outpatient services, including laboratory, radiology, rehabilitation services, infusion service, and ambulatory surgery.

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified - ABEM or FP/IM with recent EM experience - REQUIRED
• Active IA License - REQUIRED
