Position Overview
The Davey Tree Expert Company is pleased to offer a key opportunity in the field of Utility Line Clearance as a
General Foreman/Foreperson , CDL holder and/or with climbing experience preferred, leading crews servicing Lorain-Medina Rural Electric in Ohio.
Job Duties
What You’ll Do:
Manage, direct and supervise crew leaders, field personnel and equipment as well as plan and execute assigned work by:
Organizing and assigning crews and equipment to efficiently perform the required work
Understanding and following all company policies, procedures, and work rules
Maintaining accurate records of required work
Overseeing the hiring and training of all Davey employees in territory
Investigating accidents and promptly reporting to appropriate management
Every day there’s something new to do!
Qualifications
Love of the outdoors
Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training
Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
Required: valid driver’s license
Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement
Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work
Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
