Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Activities Aide/CNA to join our team at North Beach Rehabilitation Center in North Miami Beach, Florida. As a key member of our Activities Department, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to enhance the overall well‑being and quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead activities such as social events, games, arts and crafts, and exercise programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
Collaborate with the Activities Director to create a monthly calendar of events that promote socialization, relaxation, and emotional well‑being.
Assist in planning and executing themed events, parties, and outings that bring joy and excitement to our residents.
Participate in assessing resident needs and preferences to develop personalized activity plans.
Maintain accurate records of activity participation, including attendance, feedback, and suggestions.
Assist with facility upkeep, including cleaning and organizing activity areas.
Provide support to other departments as needed, including dietary, housekeeping, and nursing.
Qualifications
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
CNA license required.
