$750K base salary with lucrative sign on bonus plus occurrence based malpractice
Board Eligible/Certified in Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery
Eligibility for an unrestricted West Virginia Medical License
Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and quality improvement, and a collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively across disciplines and departments
Both General Surgery Department and Pediatric Department are looking for a dynamic Pediatric Surgeon to grow and develop the Pediatric Surgery Department
Pediatric Hospital has 36 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care unit, 25 bed general Pediatrics unit, 10 bed Pediatric Intensive Care and Neonatal Therapeutic unit
General Surgery department with 23 faculty members including General Surgery, Trauma/Critical Care, Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Otolaryngology Surgery
100% Pediatric Surgery
Pediatric Department of 35 Full Time Physicians with Full Complement of Pediatric Sub-Specialists
Medical School offers training in 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs with over 250 residents / fellows on campus working alongside 400 providers in 75 areas of primary and specialty care
Fully accredited General Surgery residency with four graduates annually
Residency programs in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/ Pediatrics and fellowship programs in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
750 plus bed healthcare network includes two teaching hospitals and a Pediatric hospital committed to improving the health of over 1 million children and adults
Fully accredited General Surgery residency
Fully accredited Level II Trauma Center
Academic appointment commensurate with experience and training
