Software Control Account Manager (CAM)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Control Account Manager (CAM) to join our Patriot Software team onsite in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. As the CAM, you will be directly accountable for the detailed planning, scheduling, and budgeting of the authorized scope of work for each assigned Control Account, leveraging technical knowledge and management experience.

Responsibilities

Develop Control Account Plans: Create detailed plans for the work to be performed within the Control Account, including scope, schedule, and budget.

Budget Management: Establish and maintain the budget for each Control Account, ensuring it aligns with project goals.

Schedule Development: Define and manage schedules for the work in each Control Account, ensuring timely delivery.

Earned Value Management (EVM): Monitor and report on earned value, cost performance, and schedule adherence to ensure project objectives are met.

Tracking and Reporting Progress: Regularly track work progress, update forecasts, and report performance against the baseline.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the Control Account, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues as they arise.

Variance Analysis: Analyze cost and schedule variances, identify corrective actions, and report findings to senior management.

Performance Monitoring: Ensure that the work within the Control Account meets quality, technical, and contractual standards.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure alignment and transparency on project status.

Change Management: Manage changes to scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring any modifications are properly documented and approved.

Forecasting: Update and forecast estimates at completion (EAC) and schedules based on project performance and changes.

Compliance with Policies: Ensure adherence to organizational, financial, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Current RTX Earned Value Management Certification.

Experience in Software Development.

Experience with Earned Value Management, cost control processes, and software tools used for monitoring and reporting on project performance.

Fully onsite role operating out of Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

Active Secret security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Proficiency in managing budgets, schedules, and resources, with experience in planning and controlling scope within a project.

Ability to assess project performance, interpret data, and identify potential risks or deviations from the plan.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, report progress, and present findings to senior management.

Ability to focus on the minute aspects of a project while maintaining a broad perspective of overall project goals.

Aptitude for resolving challenges and obstacles as they arise during the project lifecycle.

Ability to handle shifting priorities and unforeseen changes while ensuring alignment with the project's objectives.

Flexibility in how budget for each Control Account are presented and monitored, while maintaining an understanding of their requirements.

Proven ability to work closely with product leads to collect budget inputs and meet project deadlines.

What We Offer
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) matching, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
