Credit Research Analyst/Associate

A leading global asset manager is seeking an Associate to join its Leveraged Finance research team in New York. The team invests across high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and CLOs within a broader fundamental fixed income platform, working closely with sector specialists across global markets.
Responsibilities:
Support senior analysts in evaluating primary and secondary investment opportunities across leveraged credit
Conduct detailed company research, financial modeling, and valuation analysis
Perform industry and market research to inform investment decisions
Assist in ongoing portfolio monitoring and performance analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally with portfolio managers, traders, and capital markets teams
Qualifications:
2–3 years of experience in investment banking, investing, consulting, or related fields
Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
High intellectual curiosity and ability to think critically about investments
