Position Description
We are seeking a skilled Pega CDH Developer (CSSA Certified) to design, build, and optimize customer decisioning solutions using Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH). This role will focus on enabling Next Best Action (NBA) strategies to drive personalized, real‑time customer engagement across multiple channels. You will work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to implement scalable and high‑performance decisioning solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

This role can be filled from the client site 5 days a week in one of the following locations: Pittsburgh PA, or Cleveland, OH only.

Responsibilities

Part of a full stack agile team including Pega, Java, ETL, Data Engineers, VB (.NET), and Mainframe developers

Attend stand up meetings and other agile ceremonies

Support both new development and production support as needed

Qualifications

College degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent preferred but not required.

Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)

4–8 years of Pega experience, with at least 2+ years in Pega CDH

Strong experience with:

Next Best Action Designer

Decision strategies and engagement policies

Real‑time and batch decisioning

Solid understanding of Pega rules engine and PRPC fundamentals

Experience with REST APIs and system integrations

Strong understanding of customer data, segmentation, and personalization concepts

Proficiency in debugging tools such as Tracer, Clipboard, and Live UI

Strong technical knowledge and integration experience of Web Services, APIs, API Framework, and SOA

Knowledge or application architecture systems, networks, security, and enterprise databases

Experience in user interface designs/wireframes using current standard design practices for wireframes

Ability to manage multiple priorities through effective organization and communication

Strong consultative and advisory skills

Experience working with Pega PRPC (Infinity 24+ preferred)

Responsible for working closely with the business, mainframe, and Java/API developers to build and maintain Pega rulesets and UI for Offer Management solution

Experience in Pega integration via Connect‑Rest, Connect‑SOAP, Data Pages, and Data Flows

Experience working with other developers on end‑to‑end integrations of Pega with other systems/applications

Experience troubleshooting Pega issues with Clipboard, Tracer, and Pega Log review

Experience in Pega installations, migrations, upgrades, and patching

Lead System Architecture Certification is a plus

Desired Skills

Experience with Marketing Technology and Communications

Experience in banking or financial services domain

Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud (AEP, AJO, AEM)

Familiarity with event‑driven architectures (Kafka)

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Experience with Marketing applications (Pega, Salesforce, Adobe, Zafin, Naehas) is a plus

Experience in Pega Customer Decision Hub a plus

Experience in Containerization (Kubernetes / Docker) a plus

Experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, ETL (Informatica or other) a plus

Experience in Mainframe development (COBOL/DB2) a plus

Compensation & Benefits
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,800.00 – $156,700.00.
