MEP VDC / Revit Specialist
AmerInd, Little Rock, AR, United States
You've put in the work. You have the skills. But at a large firm, it can feel like your talent gets lost in the shuffle. At AmerInd, we're intentionally small enough to notice — and reward — the people who move the needle.
We are looking for a highly skilled MEP VDC / Revit Specialist to take ownership of complex, large-scale commercial and industrial projects across Arkansas and the Mid-South region. This role is Revit-heavy, allowing you to hit the ground running from day one. If you bring sharp technical skills, thrive on resolving complex clashes, and want to make a tangible impact without the corporate red tape — we want you on our team right here in Central Arkansas.
Please note: This is an on-site / hybrid role based at our Little Rock office. Remote-only applicants will not be considered. Strong preference will be given to candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to the Little Rock / Central Arkansas area.
What We Offer
Competitive Salary: $50,000 – $80,000 depending on experience, with performance-based bonuses
Sign On Bonus: $5000 (50% paid at 90 days / 50% paid at 180 days)
Real Career Advancement: A clear path to lead designer and management roles, with the autonomy to establish and guide our internal office drafting standards
Comprehensive Benefits: Full benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance
Work-Life Balance: Generous PTO, paid holidays, and flexible scheduling — so you can enjoy everything Central Arkansas has to offer
Future Security: 401k with company matching
What You’ll Do
Produce highly detailed construction documents and advanced 3D models primarily in Revit, with a strict focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
Lead multi-disciplinary BIM coordination, collaborating directly with architects, engineers, and project managers to seamlessly incorporate design requirements
Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Navisworks to run clash detection and resolve structural and MEP conflicts before they reach the field
Take a leadership role in developing and maintaining modern office drafting standards and documentation protocols
Conduct site visits across Arkansas and the Mid-South to gather data, verify design specifications, and ensure real-world compliance
Provide high-level technical support during construction and manufacturing phases
Communicate clearly with clients, stakeholders, and project managers throughout the entire project lifecycle
What You Bring
Advanced Revit Proficiency: Strong, hands‑on expertise in Revit — this is a must, not a nice-to-have
Modern Tech Stack: Proven experience with AutoCAD, advanced BIM workflows (BIM 360/ACC), Navisworks, and Bluebeam
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of MEP systems, architectural/engineering principles, and current building codes and industry standards
Technical Precision: Ability to read, interpret, and produce complex technical drawings and blueprints
Analytical Mindset: Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Education: An Associate's degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar architectural or engineering role is heavily preferred
Ready to Make Your Mark in Central Arkansas? If you're a skilled MEP/Revit professional who wants to do meaningful work, know your colleagues, and build a long-term career in a city that punches above its weight — this is your opportunity.
