Anesthesiology Physician

Specialty: o Anesthesiology- Anesthesiologist (MD) Coverage Needs: o ASAP - Ongoing Shifts: o The current model for FT docs is 2 weeks on and 1 week off with weekday and weekend call. Weekend call is Friday-Sunday from home or hotel (must be within 30 mins of hospital). o Mon-Fri 7:00-5:00; Weekend Call 24 hours Friday through Sunday Weekends are MD only. Some weekday call Call: o Yes o Weekend Requirements: Yes; 1 weekend call per month o On Call Requirements: Yes. Call required for 1 week of coverage Census: o Average Monthly Case: 25-30 cases requiring cardiac anesthesia with TEE examination Support Staff: o Care Team Model: 26 CRNA; 12 MD Procedures: o Cardiac: CABG, Valve Replacement, aortic surgery, Advanced EP ablations, Watchman. Must be TEE Capable Gen. Surgery, Ortho, Gi, Robotics, OB (C-Sections required, epidural skills helpful but NOT Required) Radiology, Endo, Eyes, Plastics, ENT, Neuro. No Trauma o Majority Case Type: Cardiac, General Surgery, Ortho, GI, Robotics o Required Procedures: A-line, CVC, PAC, Regional anesthesia EMR: o Epic Board Certification: o Board Certified Travel: o Hospital will cover o Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are available for free to clinicians at the hospital. Credentialing timeline: o 60-90 days Requirements: o ACLS o BLS o PALS o Board Certified o Board Certification in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography o TEE Certification o Must have active FL Medical License and DEA prior to presentation o Must have completed Cardiac Fellowship
