Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Nurse Residency Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Responsibilities

Coordinate scheduled experiences and learning opportunities for nurse residents
Collaborate with managers, preceptors and educators in the orientation process for the new resident
Coach and follows development of new residents as they progress through the residency program
Meet with residents, managers and preceptors on a regular, scheduled basis to assess professional development and progression in RN role
Administer the national Vizient Nurse Residency survey at prescribed intervals
Develop and implement monthly classroom learning
Plan and coordinate events such as resident pinning and graduation
Oversee resident DMAIC project completion
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
Master’s degree in Nursing preferred
Five years in acute care nursing
One year in supervisory experience preferred
Certification in Nursing area of specialty, nursing leadership or professional development once eligible
Experience in education preferred
Work Schedule

Full Time
Pay Range

$83,112.12 - $124,675.20
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
