Must be a U.S. citizen living in or around the Cleveland-Akron Ohio area
This role is critical to maintaining and evolving a complex ecosystem that handles billions of transactions, using a mix of modern platforms, such as Go, alongside legacy C# systems. You will be the visionary responsible for architecting enterprise-scale systems and improving the daily life of our development team.
Responsibilities Architecture & Strategy (50%)
Lead the architecture of large-scale enterprise systems, ensuring scalability and performance.
Build robust frameworks for Oracle Cloud coding to streamline development processes.
Conduct deep-dive code reviews and architectural assessments to maintain high engineering standards.
DevOps & Infrastructure (30%)
Dedicate significant time to managing and optimizing DevOps pipelines.
Understand existing workflows and identify technical pain points to implement efficient solutions.
Dedicate one day per week to supporting IT users and resolving complex system issues (non-implementation focused).
Manage a 50/50 split of internal and outsourced engineering work.
Qualifications
Proven track record in architecting large enterprise systems and managing DevOps at scale.
Expertise in Go and C#; strong experience with Oracle Cloud.
A "hungry" professional who understands workflow optimization and is eager to tackle highly complex environments.
Ability to bridge the gap between high-level architecture and daily developer needs.
