Location: Renton, WA (King County Seattle Metro)
Setting: Community Behavioral Health Center Adult Outpatient

Schedule: 2 days per week (ideally Monday & Tuesday, flexible)
Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM ( min lunch)

Compensation

• $90 $95 per hour

Opportunity Overview

A community-based behavioral health and wellness center in Renton, WA is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide adult-only outpatient primary care. This role focuses on preventive services and chronic disease management in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

This is a part-time opportunity starting at 2 days per week, with potential to expand based on patient demand and provider availability.

Clinical Details

• Patient Population: Adults (18+)
• Volume: patients per day
• Scope of Care:
  • Preventive health services
  • Chronic disease management (HTN, diabetes, COPD, etc.)
  • Wellness visits and health maintenance
  • Integrated care within a behavioral health setting

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult patients
• Diagnose and manage chronic medical conditions
• Maintain a daily patient volume of approximately patients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
• Document all patient encounters using Athena EMR
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Requirements

• Active Washington NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
• Family Medicine or Primary Care background strongly preferred
• Experience with adult outpatient care and chronic disease management
• Prior experience in community health or integrated care settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and EMR proficiency
