Position located at Calusa Park Elementary. Eligible candidates must meet the following minimum requirements.
Minimum Requirements (Education / Experience)
Two years of study at a higher education institution; or an associate’s degree (or higher); or demonstration through a formal state or local academic assessment (ParaPro Assessment) of knowledge and ability to assist in instructing
reading, writing, and mathematics , and readiness instruction as required by No Child Left Behind (NCLB).
Basic computer skills, including the ability to use e‑mail.
For general instructional and office assistant (Safe School) positions: Middle and high schools do not need to meet NCLB; elementary schools do. The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds.
Salary: Assistant - Range CFTE: 1.00. Calendar: 186.
