We are also building Paige — an agentic AI compensation analyst — which means you’ll recruit in an environment where AI tools actively shape how work gets done.
What You’ll Do
Own the full hiring cycle: Drive end-to-end recruiting for R&D roles across Engineering, Product, Design, and Data — from sourcing passive candidates and crafting precise Boolean searches to closing senior hires with multiple competing offers.
Become a strategic partner — not a req-filler: Work with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, pressure-test job specs, build pipelines ahead of headcount approval, and contribute to workforce planning.
Source where others don’t: Build and execute creative sourcing strategies using Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and unconventional channels.
Close with a data advantage: Manage the candidate experience end-to-end — interview coordination, offer strategy, compensation discussions — leveraging Pave’s market data to close with transparency and confidence.
Build the infrastructure to scale: Own pipeline metrics and reporting in Greenhouse and Gem, design and run interviewer calibration and training programs, and continuously improve recruiting process quality.
Use AI as a multiplier: Apply AI-powered recruiting tools for candidate research, outreach personalization, and pipeline summaries as we build AI-native workflows.
What You’ll Bring
A proven track record sourcing and closing engineering talent across multiple levels — typically 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting.
Experience recruiting at a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech company, with urgency while maintaining bar.
Strong Boolean search skills and sourcing instincts for passive candidates not on the market yet.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to sell a company vision and manage complex negotiations.
Data-driven mindset — you track pipeline metrics to inform decisions.
Real AI fluency — you already use AI tools to do your job better and are curious about what’s next.
Compensation
This compensation for this role:
$155,000 - $170,000
