Communications Center Operator

Join Allen County Public Library as a Full-Time Communications Center Operator and play a behind-the-scenes role that helps keep our libraries connected, informed, and safe. This onsite position supports patrons and staff by handling phone calls, responding to urgent situations, and monitoring security systems—all in a calm, team-oriented environment.
Pay: $14.05–$17.90 per hour

What You\'ll Do
Answer and route incoming calls on the library switchboard
Assist patrons and staff with information and service connections
Respond to emergency calls with professionalism and care
Monitor and operate video surveillance systems
Maintain clear, accurate communication and logs
