Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Day Program. Swedesboro, NJ. Full Time. Adult Day Program. Onsite employment.
We're Hiring: Direct Support Professional. As a DSP within our Adult Day Program in Swedesboro, NJ and surrounding area, you'll empower the people we serve while supporting Bancroft's mission, vision, and core values.
Bancroft's Gloucester Program provides a stable environment for individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals help those in our care to reach their highest potential, gaining experience and learning new skills.
The current hiring range for this position is $19.61 - $20.00 per hour, plus additional incentives.
Responsibilities
Teach important life skills and help adults achieve their goals.
Carry out behavioral treatment plans.
Provide assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, social awareness, meal preparation, money management, and housekeeping.
Complete paperwork and communicate with residents, families, and guardians.
Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and community outings.
Qualifications
Are 18 years of age or older.
Have a current, non‑provisional driver’s license in good standing.
Possess a high school diploma or GED.
Have experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
