A CRNA locum opportunity is available in York, PA at a large, high-acuity hospital. This assignment offers a diverse case mix, consistent scheduling, and a collaborative care team model in a Level I Trauma Center.
Assignment Overview- Start Date: May start (ongoing need)
- Setting: Inpatient Level I Trauma Center (593-bed hospital)
- Schedule:
- 4 5 shifts per week
- 10-hour shifts with start times at 6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, or 7:00 AM
- Weekend night shifts available: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Patient Population: All ages
- Provide anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical cases
- Perform epidurals independently (no MDA present)
- Work within a medically directed care team model
- Trauma
- Neuro & Spine
- Cardiac & Thoracic
- Vascular
- OB/GYN
- General Surgery
- Pediatrics
- Plastics
- Orthopedics
- Robotics
- Care team model: 1:3 ratio (max 1:4)
- CRNAs do not perform blocks
- EMR: Epic
- High-volume, fast-paced environment with strong support
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- ACLS and PALS required
- Comfortable with a wide variety of cases and patient populations
