Plumbing Inspector E11

The Bureau of Construction Codes is hiring a Plumbing Inspector (E11).
This position is responsible for inspecting new plumbing installations to determine compliance with applicable laws, rules, and standards, ordering necessary corrections when violations are identified, and regulating persons performing plumbing work.
Responsibilities also include providing technical assistance to local plumbing inspectors, disseminating information to permit holders, attending training seminars, and maintaining records and reports.
Qualifications
Completion of high school.
Six years of experience in the plumbing trade, including two years equivalent to a journey‑level plumber.
Required to be registered as a plumbing inspector and plan reviewer under Act 407 of 2016.
Must hold a journey or master plumber's license issued by the Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license.
