Production Associate Day Shift

Position: Production Associate
Base Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift.
Shift options: 1st shift – 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday – Friday; 3rd shift – 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday – Friday.
Location: 433 N. Main St., Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151.
Responsibilities
Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units.
Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers as required.
Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
Read and follow simple written instructions, work orders, labels, and schedules.
Use a tape measure for measurements and inspect product defects.
Make fraction and decimal conversions.
Operate any equipment needed to perform a job.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Pass a background check and drug test.
Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.
