Position Overview
GTI Fabrication is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems supporting production of modular data center units, power distribution systems, and integrated electrical infrastructure.

The Journeyman Electrician will support production equipment, electrical integration areas, plant systems, and manufacturing operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient execution. Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation & Production Support

Install wiring, lighting, panels, breakers, conduit, disconnects, and control systems

Support electrical integration of modular data center systems and power distribution equipment

Maintain reliable plant electrical systems supporting production operations

Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment as required

Troubleshooting & Repair

Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair electrical issues to minimize production downtime

Respond quickly to equipment failures impacting schedules or output

Verify functionality of repaired systems through testing and validation

Blueprint Reading & Standards Compliance

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, one‑lines, panel layouts, and diagrams

Perform work in accordance with NEC, OSHA, and GTI quality and safety standards

Support lockout/tagout and safe energized work practices where permitted

Documentation & Inventory Support

Complete repair records, PM documentation, and service logs

Maintain accurate records of work performed and system performance

Support inventory readiness of tools, supplies, and replacement parts

Continuous Improvement & Teamwork

Support reliability improvements, Root Cause Analysis, and uptime initiatives

Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement efforts

Work closely with production teams, supervisors, and engineering personnel

Required Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as an Electrician, Industrial Electrician, or Journeyman Electrician

Strong blueprint, schematic, and one‑line reading skills

Working knowledge of electrical theory, controls, motors, and industrial equipment

Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems in a fast‑paced industrial environment

Valid driver’s license

Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform bending, climbing, squatting, reaching, and kneeling

Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license

Completion of apprenticeship, technical school, or trade program

Experience in industrial manufacturing, modular manufacturing, or contract manufacturing environments

PLC troubleshooting or controls experience

Experience supporting modular data center infrastructure or power systems

Willingness to work overtime as needed
