Nocturnist Physician

Facility in York, PA seeking Nocturnist locums coverage Rates: $210/hr Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: May 10, 2026.
• Contract Length: Ongoing.
• Schedule: Standard 7-on/7-off rotation ( shifts per month).
• Shift Times: 12-hour shifts (Primarily 6:00 PM 6:00 AM; some 8:00 PM 8:00 AM).
• Support: 1 of 3 physicians on overnight; supported by Practice and Office Managers.
• Procedures: No procedures required.
• EMR: EPIC.

Clinical Scope & Volume The Nocturnist team is responsible for managing admissions and responding to urgent needs for an adult and geriatric patient population.

• Patient Volume: Average of admissions per night.
• Patient Age: 18 years and older (Adult/Geriatric).
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in managing complex acute medical conditions in an inpatient setting.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Experience: 1 2 years of inpatient experience preferred.
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License in hand or willing to license (90-120 day window).
• Certifications: Active ACLS (Required) and DEA.
• Documentation: NPDB self-query (dated within 6 months) required at presentation.
• 7 years of work history or 10 previous assignments.
• Full disclosure of all malpractice history.
