Overview

Location: Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Participates in a cross-functional team to produce 3D models, technical prints, data sheets, and technical packages for submittal to customer and to facilitate the production of components. Inspects and documents dimensions and characteristics of various components using metrology instrumentation, gauges and software-based inspection methods. Establishes and understands tolerances based on component design and function to identify the design and configuration of obsolete samples of mechanical items. Reviews and interprets standards, quality requirements, and technical information related to Nuclear Power Plant mechanical items. Identifies and resolves issues and technical discrepancies. Develops procedures and inspection plans. Performs tasks in accordance with our Nuclear Quality Assurance program. Will also support other projects and initiatives as necessary.
Duration:

Full-Time Summer
Pay range : $20-$23/hour

Qualifications

Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or Engineering Technology from an accredited university.

Other Requirements / Skills / Abilities

Lifting 50 lbs., standing, sitting
Demonstrated mechanical knowledge and understanding to support inspection, testing and machining departments.
Good communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
Ability to work on a variety of technical problems of diverse scope in an imaginative and practical way and evaluate alternative solutions that may require coordination across multiple teams.
Proficiency with MS Office; experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks
Authorized to work in the United States
