Locums - Syracuse - CRNA Opening

Assignment Details

• Coverage Needed: June & July (with potential for ongoing sporadic coverage)
• FTE: 1-2 full-time providers preferred
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Call: None required
  • Dedicated in-house CRNA covers evenings, nights, and weekends
• Open to locum, locum-to-perm, and permanent candidates

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based
• Coverage areas include:
  • Main Operating Rooms
  • Endoscopy Unit
  • Cardiac Lab
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
• OR Capacity: 15 Main ORs, 4 ASC rooms
• Trauma Level: II
• EMR: Epic

Care Model

• Medically supervised anesthesia model
• Supervision Ratio:
  • 1:4 (general)
  • 1:2 (cardiac)
• Providers must be comfortable working independently within a supervised model

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a wide variety of procedures
• Work with full perioperative team including:
  • Scrub techs
  • RN circulators
  • Anesthesia techs
• Blocks not required

Patient Population

• Adult, geriatric, and 16+

Requirements

• NBCRNA Certification - Required
• Active New York License - Highly Preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
