Clinical RoleJoin a well-balanced gastroenterology locums opportunity offering a mix of procedures, inpatient care, clinic time, and 24-hour call coverage. This role is ideal for providers seeking consistent block scheduling with a structured daily workflow in a supportive hospital environment.

Start Date: July 13, 2026Schedule:July 13th 7a through July 18th 7aAugust 24th 7a through August 29th 7aAugust 31st 7a through September 7th 7aDecember 28th through January 4th 7am Position Highlights:

• Consistent 2-week per month schedule

• Structured blend of procedures, clinic, and inpatient care

• Dedicated procedural block time during the week

• No ERCP or EUS required

• Supportive environment with anesthesia onsite

Schedule & Coverage

• Coverage: 2 weeks per month

• Block schedule: Monday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM

• 24-hour call throughout assignment

Weekday Schedule (M-F):

• 8-hour workdays

• Morning procedures (typically Wed-Fri, occasional Monday):

  • 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM ( 4.5 hours)

• Clinic/office time: 4 hours (as needed)

• Inpatient rounding and consults in the afternoon

Weekend Schedule:

• Rounding and procedures as needed

• 24-hour call coverage

Clinical Details & ResponsibilitiesSetting: Hospital (132 beds)

Patient population: Adults (18+)

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing scheduled GI procedures

• Managing inpatient consults and rounding

• Providing clinic/office visits as needed

• Delivering continuous call coverage

• Evaluating and treating a variety of GI conditions

Procedures:

• General GI procedures

• No ERCP or EUS required

Support & Technology

• Anesthesia onsite for procedural support

• Efficient hospital workflow with balanced clinical responsibilities

Technology:

• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

• Active Pennsylvania license - required

• IMLC accepted

• DEA required

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
