• No. of Beds in Department: 12 ED beds (5 fast track)

• EMR System: Cerner

• Office Equipment Available: Standard ED equipment

• Specialty Backup Available: Limited subspecialty support

• Support Staff Available: 24-hour physician coverage with 20-24 hours NP/PA coverage

• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• General emergency medicine procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active NC license required

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine

• DEA: Active NC DEA required

• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required (if not ABEM)

• Experience: Recent graduates accepted

• Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable with full-scope ED privileges

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency department care for all patient presentations

• Manage patient care independently during shifts

• Collaborate with NP/PA support staff

• Coordinate care with available specialty services

• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
