Radiation Oncology Locums Job in Louisiana Early June

We are working with a health system partner seeking Radiation Oncology locum coverage for a short term assignment supporting continuity of care during a planned coverage gap. This opportunity is clinic based with no call requirements.

Dates of Coverage:
June 1-5, 18-19, 22-26
July 15-17

Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Details and Requirements:
Radiation Oncology coverage in both clinic and hospital based settings
No call responsibilities
Rounding is involved but occurs infrequently
Average clinic patient volume is approximately 20 on treatment visit days
Inpatient consult volume is minimal and typically limited to one if needed
Practice supported by nursing staff, CNA support, and radiation therapists
EPIC and Aria electronic medical record systems utilized

Candidate Requirements:
Board eligible or board certified Radiation Oncology physician
Ability to support both outpatient treatment and limited inpatient rounding
