Credentialing time frame: approximately 60 days
Shift Details
24 hour call coverage, 7am-7am
Beeper call; provider not required to remain onsite
Response time to be onsite within 20 minutes
Requirements
Board certified in Urology
Michigan state license
Fellowship - Highly Preferred
Practice setting: inpatient
Patients per shift: approximately 1-5
Average call volume: 2-4 calls per night and 1-2 expected onsite call ins
Average onsite call back hours: 2-4 hours per day
Rounding and discharge responsibilities on new admissions and inpatient census
Common hospital procedures include kidney stones, CBI consults, stents, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements
EMR: Athena and Cerner
Facility Trauma Level: 2
Resident or teaching supervision required
