Role Description
We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join happy droid’s engineering team. You will be designing and validating the mechanical parts and assemblies that sit at the core of our robotics platform, as well as supporting the manufacturing of these systems.
The candidate has a creative and practical mindset, with demonstrated design experience building production quality hardware. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who inspire and support a team, while also being able to independently drive their own work.
This position is on-site in San Mateo, CA.
Qualifications
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
5+ Years of industry experience
Product design and manufacturing background
Experience working with suppliers and specification based quality control
Experience with product life cycle and shipping consumer products
