
Mechanical Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities
Install and maintain machines and equipment applying engineering principles and/or according to the manuals
Generate and update the operation and maintenance manuals for Li ion battery production equipment
Diagnose and repair machines and production equipment
Improve the manufacturing efficiency and quality Continuously
Make the drawings using solid works, design and make tools and fixtures
Oversee the daily operation of cell assembly line to ensure smooth operation per the set standards and procedures
Actively train technician for using coating machine, the cell assembly machine and equipment
Serve as team member for AS9100D system
Prepare Quality Control documentations as assigned
Inspect and make effort that QC procedures are followed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
BA degree in mechanical engineering
Must be a US Citizen or a green card holder
Minimum five years' related experience in Li ion battery, semiconductor or electronic device industries.
Demonstrates understanding of a wide variety of manufacturing and machining processes and workholding.
Ability to utilize internal resources to determine product requirements, generate recommendations, document findings, and communicate findings to others.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Driven to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates a high degree of initiative and motivation with a willingness to work independently or on a team.
Physical Requirements
Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
Must be able to wear PPE at work when required
Must be ok to work in the environment with Li-ion battery production
Must be able to bend, squat, reach, and climb on a frequent basis.
Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 50lbs.
