Cardiology Physician Assistant

Exciting locum opportunity for experienced cardiology APPs! Join a strong, collaborative team of cardiologists in a supportive inpatient setting. This role is perfect for those who have prior locum experience and want predictable hours with meaningful patient care.

Start Date: ASAP - ongoing need

Position Highlights:

• Experienced NP/PA in Cardiology (inpatient locum experience preferred)

• Complete inpatient rounding, consults, and assist cardiologists

• Hospital stroke certified with full inpatient responsibilities

• 2-3 positions available to meet coverage needs

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional weekend shifts and/or 7 on 7 off

• Scheduled clinic hours + call

• 38-bed facility

• Patient volume: 10-12 patients per shift

• Admissions: 15 per shift

• Local in-house call for assigned/unassigned patients (Call ratio: 1:4)

Support & Technology:

• EMR: Cerner - Experience Required

• Active North Carolina license requiredNC DEA Required
