Shop Mechanic – Macon, GA
Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an experienced shop mechanic based out of Macon, GA. The successful candidate will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence and at least 2-4 years of related experience.
Main Responsibilities
Repair and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment and motor vehicles while adhering to all company safety policies.
Proper completion of any required paperwork/records regarding repairs to equipment and vehicles on a timely basis.
Carry out detailed instructions and take directions to job sites.
Use good judgement in decision-making and work with or without direct supervision.
Education and Skills Required
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2-4 years related experience.
Ability to weld (a plus).
Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
General Requirements
Mechanics must supply their own tools.
Must actively abide by the company’s safety policies and procedures.
Must have a current, valid driver’s license with a clear MVR.
