Position Summary
Enforcement of parking regulations and operational policies in campus lots and structures with strong, professional customer service.
Responsibilities
Issue citations and enforce parking rules, including towing/booting for violations.
Prepare daily reports and provide information to faculty, staff, employees, students, and visitors concerning parking complaints, suggestions, concerns, directions, policies, and other campus-related issues.
Direct traffic in and around parking structures to ensure safe and orderly ingress and egress.
Provide reserved accommodations for special events, special guests, or scheduled football games or other athletic events.
Support co‑workers during special events, employee absences, or other circumstances, performing tasks needed to maintain orderly operation of the facility or department.
Assist with the cleaning of surface lots and associated vehicles and equipment during slow periods.
Patrol all levels of the facility or parking lot to provide security, identify unauthorized parkers, perform litter patrol, and detect suspicious persons or illegal activities.
Minimum Qualifications
No prior experience necessary.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Customer Service Skills.
Organizational Skills.
Ability to interact courteously with discontent guests.
Physical Demands
Must be able to work in adverse climates.
Background Check
A background investigation is required for acceptance of the position, including a criminal background check and confirmation of credentials and employment history. A drug test may be required for high-risk responsibilities.
