Lead CSR / Teller - West Loop - Full Time
Department: Customer Service
General Function
Provide excellent customer service, refer customers to appropriate business partners, handle complex CSR duties, exercise independent judgment, manage risks, uphold ethical behavior, and ensure positive customer experience.
Customer Experience
Deepen relationships and treat customers with genuine care, listening to their needs and guiding them to appropriate solutions.
Provide follow‑up on customer questions and find solutions to address issues.
Be responsive and timely with correspondence to keep lines of communication open and clear.
Maintain trust and confidentiality of customer business.
Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies.
Operations
Collaborate with the Financial Center Manager to complete monthly cash counts.
Gather and report monthly FCA requests.
Perform daily office responsibilities, working with CSRs and Bankers, to maintain efficient operation.
Maintain a balancing record in line with policy, identify and correct outages, assist others.
Keep up to date on bank policies and procedures.
Apply sound judgment when making decisions in accordance with guidelines.
Assist in training newly hired Customer Service Representatives.
Referrals
Identify customer needs during interactions and refer to Bankers and business partners.
Maintain knowledge of Retail products and services.
Use tools to track referrals sent to personal bankers and partners.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
High school diploma or GED.
Extensive cash handling experience.
In-depth knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
Public interaction skills complying with dress code guidelines.
Ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the public.
Initiative, sound judgment, and problem‑resolution skills.
Leadership and resourcefulness for customers and platform team.
Commitment to core values: work as one bank, accountability, respect, inclusion, and integrity.
Flexibility in scheduling.
Working Conditions
Normal office environment with extensive computer screen use.
Compensation and Benefits
